Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 8 May 2026
Media Addict Limited is committed to making mediaaddict.co.uk usable by as many people as possible, including users with disabilities or impairments, and to making reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.
1. Our standard
We work towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We design and build new pages with accessibility in mind from the start, and review existing content periodically.
2. What we have done
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so the site is navigable with a screen reader and a keyboard.
- Maintain colour-contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.2 AA for text and interactive elements.
- Ensure interactive elements have visible focus states and are operable with a keyboard.
- Provide meaningful alternative text for content images and label non-content images appropriately.
- Avoid relying on colour alone to convey information.
- Test the site with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and at zoom levels up to 200%.
3. Known limitations
We are aware of, and actively working on, the following items:
- Some interactive showcase elements (decorative animations on the homepage) may not be fully equivalent for users who prefer reduced motion. Users can set the OS-level “reduce motion” preference, which we honour.
- Some legacy case-study assets may not yet have full alternative-text equivalents. We are remediating these on an ongoing basis.
If you encounter another accessibility barrier, please let us know. We will fix it where we can and find a workaround in the meantime.
4. Reasonable adjustments and alternative formats
If you require information from this site in an alternative format (large print, plain text, audio) or need any other reasonable adjustment to access our services, contact us using the details below. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within five working days.
5. Reporting an accessibility issue
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. To report an issue, request an adjustment, or comment on our approach, email hello@mediaaddict.co.uk with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Please include the page URL, a description of the issue, and any assistive technology you were using.
6. Enforcement
If we are unable to resolve an accessibility complaint to your satisfaction, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
7. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 8 May 2026 based on a self-assessment of the site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We will review and update it at least annually.
